Current research line

My work is focused on the calibration and assessment of gas-surface interaction models and experiments for atmospheric entry protection materials when subjected to plasma flows. To achieve this goal, I propose to use rigorous uncertainty quantification techniques.

Science outreach

As scientists, we have the duty to help educate the general public about our findings and the impact that Science has in their lives. As a graduate student, I try to engage the public by showing them a common scientific view, one they can also relate to and learn from.

Other interests

Apart from my everyday research, I also stay up-to-date in the latest research done in other fields. My other big passion is Cosmology and I follow very closely the latest LIGO searches. In terms of non-sciency activities, I love a good hiking retreat up in the mountains and poetry, the finest art.
